BLOGMAS Day 4 - Happy Days, License and Irish Party

Hey,

Welcome to Day Four of BLOGMAS!

Rain was pounding on my roof when I woke up this morning, but did that dampen my mood? No way, today my friend Ella were off to get our learners license!

In New Zealand you have to be atleast 16 to take your Learners (Theory Test on the road rules), then six months later you do your Restricted (Practical in Car test) and then when you're atleast 18 you can go on for your full license.

So Ella and I have been organising for awhile to get ours together, and in my town there's a caravan you go to and they teach you everything then you do your test...

I PASSED!

It was such a lovely sunny day today too! It was an awesome omen for my day.

Look at those bad boys! ^

I have a confession.. whilst I did indeed pass my theory test, there's a compulsory eye test and I failed that! Apparently there were three columns not two columns.. anyway, it meant I had to go to my Optometrists and get an eye test there, drive back to the Vehicle testing place and then finally home!

Once home it was a matter of organizing one's self. My youth group threw an Irish Party at a farm, and the idea was for everyone to wear green, so I may have messed my mothers closet up in the process??! Oops.

In the meantime, I opened my advent calendar for the fourth day. Inside was a rose scented handcream and it is so lovely! I'm going to love it Winter and Autumn next year!

A cheeky wee Gossip Girl episode was squeezed in and some of Gabriella Lindley's Vlogmas and then I hurried off to Lauren's house. Personally I don't like going in places alone, so like animals I travel in a pack, or with a Lauren. (Warpaint) Face paint was applied and we were good as green.

The rest of our night was spent laughing and singing, running (that's my exercise for the month thank youuu) and dancing. Everyone was in such a good mood, and at the end we still had smiles plastered on our sweaty faces.

Around 11 pm Mum texted that she had a surprise for me at home, and I can tell you, my heart leapt when I saw it! On the 14th of October, Mum left my camera in Paris' Charles De Gaulle Airport, and we didn't find out until conveniently we were in New Zealand. A lot of praying, wrangling, broken french, and worrying later, on the 5th of November, I HAVE MY BABY BACK! I also left $360 NZD in that camera bag, AND IT WAS THERE! Don't ever tell me prayer doesn't work because friend, God is good all the time, and all the time God is good!

Here's some bonus pictures I took just messing around with the Christmas Tree!

I had a grand ol time at that Irish Party, my license, my cats, and of course my camera! and I'm tired but happy.

See you tomorrow.

Love,
Georgia Maree xx
