Welcome to Day 19 of BLOGMAS!!

Today began with cat snuggles and scrambled egg breakfast. How else? I opened the 19th door of my advent calendar that was lip balm. This is actually such a nice lip balm too!


I finally wrapped my friend Christmas presents, and chilled with Mollie.

Christmas shopping means candy canes, stockings, festive m'n'ms and my mother grabbed some fairy lights.

My new stocking! My brother and I haven't gotten new stockings since the 90's, so a new one was in order.

My mother and I planned a few nights ago that tonight we'd go on a mini roadtrip to look at christmas lights, but now that it's summer in New Zealand we have to wait until 9 pm for it to get dark enough. So off we popped, with the radio blaring and our puffa jackets on just in case.

We drove around Feilding looking for more, but lots of ones that previously were on in past years weren't up this year! Reluctantly we came back, and saw that the tractors were done up.

A festive house! We liked how this one had little peep holes in the fence, and how they could be inside their house, and still people could have a look without invading their property, it was very well done!

The last stop was at a hair salon, that was actually quite gorgeous. It had a little train whizzing around too.

And finally, our home!

I'm now snuggled up in pj's watching Fred Claus. I hope you go and see some Christmas lights! It's one of my traditions, and I love it.
