Comfort Zones || ANXIETY
Hey,
There are roughly seven billion people on Earth. Each one of those people have comfort zones, and they all have different ones. What is totally a walk in the park for you, could be terrifying for someone else. You will know your own comfort zones, and most people like to chill in there, in their little bubble. Which of course, is absolutely fine! But there can sometimes come a time when we need to step out of the bubble and do something 'crazy'. (Or from the movie 'Bubble Boy', take your bubble with you ;) )
For me one of my comfort zones is not really engaging or talking to strangers, people I don't know. I only say a couple words if any to my brothers friends, and mostly keep to myself! With changing schools I've been forced to pop my comfort bubble, and step out. I've been talking to new people, making new friends and actually enjoying myself.
Another little comfort zone I have is fashion wise. I never really liked to wear anything 'out there' but I've recently found inspiration through my best friend. She loves wearing unique clothes that no one else really has, and she always looks amazing. (My neighbor even commented that she looked like a supermodel!! I've never even spoken to my neighbor!) So, I thought you know what, I deserve to wear what ever I want to wear! I've stepped out. Only slightly, but I think some of the nicest comfort zone outtings are the teeny ones. It's definitely made me happy, and I think if you're going to do it, make sure it's going to make you happy.
Comfort zones are funny little things that can be made into BIG things Do be careful and if you can, try to push yourself a little everyday. Commenting on a strangers hair could lead to them being your new friend.
Love,
Georgia Maree xx
