WELCOME TO BLOGMAS 2015! I'm going to be posting everyday in December leading up to Christmas, since this is my first year of doing this it might be terrible, but I'd hate to not give it a go and be disappointed for a year.
Christmas is an exciting time for a lot of people, unfortunately I won't be posting great pictures of cozy fires, Christmas jumpers and snow, New Zealand's Christmas is nothing like that! My Christmases have always been full of sunny days having barbecues with family milling around, and a beach or pool nearby. For us, Christmas marks Summer!
Summer means family and friends to me, and if I can have one Christmas wish it would be to stay always with my most loved ones.
The weird thing about Christmas time is everyone seems to twist the meaning of the day around, so Christmas can be a really sad and stressful period in people's lives. I'm Christian myself so there's the Christian meaning of it along with Christmas just being a day of loving each other and celebrating that love! Try not to get too wrapped up in the present giving side and focus on BEING present!
I'm rather excited about Blogmas if I do say so myself, I hope you are too!
