Hey,
Ironically, this is my 100th post on Saffron & Roses.
Last year I made a blog post about my resolutions, and I know every single year people make resolutions, but no one follows through with them. They're lost in the dust often even by February.
This year, instead I'm focusing on one big goal. To be organised. It sounds like the most simplest thing ever, but to me organisation is like a great sigh of relief. Once everything is organised, neat, and tidy you're able to know what you're doing with yourself!
One way, right now I stay organised is using my phone and iPad calendar. I'm always writing in events and whatever I'm doing that day is always on there. I'm really good at knowing that side of things, and I don't want that to change!
I want to work on completing homework, and not letting it get the best of me. I am going back to a school this year, that I left in mid 2014. Am I nervous? Yes. But I feel like I have something to prove, and I am going to prove it. I want to finish all my work on time, and not stress myself out in doing so.
Being on time, is another thing I am aiming for this new year. I think being late to things can make yourself seem unreliable, and I want to be responsible. Maybe that's my teenager thing pushing through of independence!
Nailing this whole driving thing. I only got my learners in December (see post here), so I can go for my restricted in June. I want to be able to feel comfortable behind the wheel, and continue using my scooter!
Be happy. I left this school in tough times, and I want to be happy in all aspects of my life, including school! I want to just have a carefree year of friends and family love. I adore my friends and I want for 2016 to be awesome with them.
I hope you are able to focus on which things in your life are great, over what's not so great. I wish you the best 2016! Here's to a new year on Saffron & Roses.
Love,
Georgia Maree xx
