Hey.
Earth174 is probably my favourite brand, they are a New Zealand brand, their products are only tested on humans, natural and organic.
Here's a blurb from their website here;
'Earth 174 have created a range of instinctively natural skincare and cosmetics which are perfect for people who are concerned about parabens, petrochemicals and synthetic ingredients, ingredient/product traceability and the effect of products on your health and the environment. These product are perfect for people with all types of skin and are especially good for those very sensitive skin particularly those with skin reactions such as rashes, ezcema and skin irritations from chemical other non-natural ingredients. We custom make our products for those people that require special attention. In fact all our products have stemmed from our customers requests, which is the reason they are so popular and people only return to repurchase.'
I personally have sensitive and normal to dry skin, I find some products make me face incredibly dry and can cause an allergic reaction, with Earth174, I haven't had any awful reaction, their products are incredibly gentle and soothing. My brother has oily- normal skin, and when he was going through a bout of acne he started using their facial scrub cream everyday and it cleared up amazingly. He hasn't had any since.
So because we have loved this brand so much, I have decided to share it with you all. New Zealand is so small and often the products we use are from overseas, it's really special to have homemade organic natural products made right here, in NZ. They ship overseas via their website, so if you aren't from NZ don't worry!
If you are, they have a 'store/factory at 210 Main Rd, Tawa. Our website is a very popular outlet with over 2000 registered customers. We also operate from 2 permanent weekly markets (Saturday at Frank Kitts Underground Craft market, Sunday at the Chaffers Marina City Market) and the annual regional markets such as Martinborough, Khandallah, Island Bay, Eastbourne, Petone and Lower Hutt.' see more here.

| Facial Scrub Cream, This is the one my brother uses everyday, I love this so much. It smells slightly citrusy, with a light floral touch, I can smell a hint of lavender in there too. on the back it says; 'Jojoba beads will exfoliate the most sensitive skin. revealing fresh revitalised skin' Ingredients include; pure dew water, sweet orange, grapefruit seed, lavender, lime etc. |

Sensitive & Dry Skin Toner This is so hydrating! You simply spritz it on your face, and it feels amazing. Summer is approaching fast here, as you know if you have read my previous blog post, and this is my summer go-to. I could not survive summer without it. If you have oily/acne prone skin they have a specific toner for that too here. It contains ingredients like; rosewater, chamomile and aloe vera juice. |

| Deodorant My mother uses this, I don't personally like the smell too much of it, she loves it though and it isn't irritating like some deodorants can be. |
![]() Hand Cream This hand cream is amazing for everyone with dry hands, I find this product smells amazing and feels so good on your skin. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Sunscreen This product is actually from Active, I think Active and Earth174 worked together to create the sunscreen. I have used this on multiple occasions so far, and haven't gotten burnt at all. It's supposed to be water resistant, so you put it on in the morning, and you can swim for up to four hours. I put some on my hand as above^ , and ran it under water, amazingly the water had little droplets on my hand, and the water didn't soak in! At first I was hesitant with this, as normal sunscreen is white, and this is a peachy orange colour. Suprisingly it didn't change the colour of my skin at all! Above you can see the bottom picture is it all rubbed in. It also has a more moisturizing feel and smell, some sunscreens can smell chemical-y and feel cakey and gross. This sunscreen feels just like a body butter. It is a new product, so definitely give it a try. ![]() ![]() ![]() Anti-Inflammatory Active Recovery Rub This product is mainly used for sports injuries, massaging into sore muscles, and can also be used on cracked dry heels. My family uses this a lot, my mother and brother with their hockey, and my father with his cycling, running and triathlons. I'll be honest, it doesn't smell the best, but it really soothes your muscles especially when you haven't been on a run in a while, and your family forces you to go for a hike... ![]() ![]() Coconut & Honey Body Butter I wasn't able to find the link on their website for this product, but I really love this. With a coconut and vanilla-y smell, it glides on your skin like a dream. I'm so impressed with this body butter! It's cheaper than the bodyshop ones, and I think its a lot better for your skin. This has made my legs so smooth! Seriously, one sniff and I knew it was my kind of product. ![]() Other products we have used that are not pictured Include: Bio-Active Manuka Honey Soothing Antiseptic Balm Great for itchy bites, and ezcema. Again, not a great smell, but very soothing as the name suggests! Lip Balm Good for all round seasons, makes my lips super soft and is a good moisturizer. Facial Cleanser I didn't like this as much as the Facial Scrub Cream, it didn't really seem to do as much for my skin as the Facial Scrub. I just find the facial scrub to be very rejuvenating, and it brightens up my skin, whereas I was a little underwhelmed with the Facial Cleanser. Products I would love to try/will try out in future Rich and Intensive Night Cream moisturizer I'm on the hunt for a night cream, and this one looks very intriguing. It's also a best seller of theirs, and is targeted at normal-dry skin. So we'll see, hopefully in future I'll pop in and grab this. Eye Serum It is supposed to be for anti-wrinkle, but that's not a problem for me just yet. I think this will be very good at reducing and hydrating under eye circles, as I am one of those people who stay up incredibly late, I always have ridiculous bags. Clay Face Mask Sandalwood, Chamomile & Manuka Honey I adore clay face masks, and this one certainly looks great. Face masks are a great way to pamper yourself at home when you're not feeling 200%. On a lazy sunday afternoon I love to just relax and my face always feels super smooth and ready for the rest of the week.
So, finally I've finished my review! I hope you have enjoyed this blog post, it's not my usual but I am loving the variety of my blog and I love sharing things with you all. Thanks for reading, I hope you have an amazing week. xx
