Hey,
Living in New Zealand is amazing for a whole ton of things... Except when it comes to YouTube. I've been a viewer of Louise Pentland - Sprinkle Of Glitter, Zoe Sugg - Zoella and Tanya Burr for around two years now!
Naturally, I knew coming over to the UK finally I needed to buy all the things. And buy all the things I did! (The only problem being the fact one British pound GBP is like $2.50 NZD! You have no idea the pain we go through :') )
The first thing I spotted was in WHsmiths, Life With A Sprinkle Of Glitter ! I absolutely love this, and to be honest with you I would buy this even if I had no idea who Louise was. Each page is so perfectly Louise and it's all gorgeous. My favourite chapters are the Shopping bits, and I enjoyed how Louise's writing is just the same as it is in her blog posts, it makes you feel like you're having a chat with her. I would recommend this to anyone, as it doesn't have a specific age bracket, although being high school age onwards will mean you understand and appreciate the school advice. If you're a mother yourself you will definitely cry at the mother daughter section, I'm not a mother but I cried so many happy tears, you can feel love radiating out of the glossy pages. I like the scrapbook style way the whole book is, and I'm sure you will too!
Next was to Superdrug! The Superdrug I was in had a super awesome sale on
Tanya Burr Cosmetics and I was a very very happy broke kiwi then! I got three of the lipglosses for £1.50 each, down from around £6 ! I got 'Chic', 'Exotic Island' , and 'Vampire Kisses'. I also picked up one of her nail polishes, in 'Fairy Godmother'. I looooove Chic! Chic is such a natural easy everyday colour and all the lipglosses smell very very lovely! Fairy Godmother is a very pretty shade and with us Southern Hemisphere people going into warmer months, it's going to be a staple. Ps. I know these are from her older collection hence the sale, but I'm still rather proud of my purchase!
Zoella Beauty! I bought a few different things here, coming back to a different Superdrug. I got two of her makeup bags, one from her original first collection, the eyes and then the Collar purse bag. I love Zoe, and she's actually quite special to me with my anxiety, which you can read about here. Anyway, I love her and with her things already being quite expensive (in pounds it's still rather expensive.. Then times that by two and add half... It's not great!) they are good quality though and I just do wish they were a bit cheaper!
Well, now we've established how much I love these three (seriously count how many times I say love in this post...!) I hope you've LOVED this post! In the words of Florence Welch... I don't care! I love it!
Love,
Georgia Maree xx
LOVE LOVE LOVE
