I've started a new series on here, called Why I love ...
I've decided to make it because I think showing people how much you value them is something we should all do more than once a year on their birthdays, letting those who love you, know that you love them!
I love my dad, because no matter what he is an open ear and an open heart, he's there for me to rant about random things and know he won't judge me.
He's always there with a hug and a smile, and makes me laugh. I love him because he puts my needs over his own, and we both are kindred souls. The best thing he's ever said to me, is that I'm special because I can take things on a deeper level, and fully experience things.
My dad's shown me what it's like to be passionate about things that others aren't, he is so passionate and his face lights up when he talks about things. One of my favourite things is when he tells us stories of his childhood, not in a sad way like many adults, because he's never fully lost his childlike side.
I love him because he unconditionally loves me, and I feel very blessed to have him, many people don't have great parents and that breaks my heart.
I really hope that if you have a great dad, you let him know he's great.
