Hey,

In February 2013, I was walking up the stairs to my new form class, there was a girl with the most amazing hair I had ever seen. It was so long, and had a natural ombre that people would pay hundreds to imitate, so I was immediately jealous.

I decided I either wanted to be her or be best friends with her.  I got to know her, she is intelligent, caring, kind-hearted, funny, bubbly, and just the kind of person everyone wants to be around. Not only is she gorgeous on the outside, more importantly she had the sweetest personality of anyone.

That was Lauren, and as soon as we met we clicked. She really is so sweet! I adore her, and I feel very special that someone like her is friends with me. I genuinely think she's going to go far in life, and that's because she's incredibly hardworking.

We both are able to bond over everything from screaming out disney lyrics, to equally feeling that intelligence is better than beauty, to our mutual love of blue. We have so much in common we used to joke we were twins. I can tell her anything, and I know I can trust her.

I feel like Lauren is a friend for life, and someone I never want to lose touch with! I really hope that you have an amazing friend like Lauren in your life.

We all need a Lauren.
