Things That Have Made Me Happy - SEPTEMBER 2015

Hey!!

Alrighty, This Things That Have Made Me Happy will most likely just be a whole lotta words! I'm currently on a ferry (what up free wifi!) from Wales to Ireland, and my iPad doesn't like posting photos so bear with me! I would recommend grabbing something to eat... This is going to be a long one! 

ACTIVITIES
• The calm before the storm (aka relaxing before we go to Europe)
• Hanging out with family before we leave ! (Shout out to Jemma Rose)
• Roaming around Istanbul
• Shopping in the Grand Bazaar (Shop keepers are very talkative!)
• Boat ride to Beyoglu seeing the Galata Tower
• Relaxing all day in the apartment (Little scary at times in a foreign country alone but I was okay! Watching Bachelor In Paradise)
• Walking around Istanbul (We got lost but it gave us a great opportunity to see parts we would have never seen and experienced more culture!)
• All the cats everywhere in Istanbul - it made me miss my babies Mollie and Louis but they were adorable!
• Hagia Sophia in Istanbul (The redeeming factor !)
• Being free from Turkey (more on this in another blog post...)
• Venice! So calm and beautiful
• Walking on the Bridge of Sighs & relaxing in beautiful Venice
• Rome ! We may have gotten drenched in a sudden downpour at the colloseum but I liked it
• Enjoying the history in Rome
• Split! Croatia. Croatia is the most amazing place ever
• Split is so clean and we were able to walk around and enjoy the atmosphere and sun
• Diocletians Palace
• Dubrovnik ! We drove there from Split, the first day we walked the city walls - game of thrones style
• Second day in Dubrovnik we did an amazing three island cruise - my favourite island was Lopud! soo much fun swimming in the crystal clear waters! The cruise men were awesome and the boat had music playing, happy people and sun out.
• London! Easy flight from Dubrovnik to London, only 2 hours ! So if youre a londoner I very very much recommend Croatia! And to anyone really, CROATIA!!
• Being sad to leave Croatia (Honestly I want to live there) but excited for what the UK brings!
• Arriving in London & relaxing in our Leicester Garden apartments
• Exploring the British Museum
• Watching the rugby kick off in Taylor Walker Sussex pub
•Shopping at Whitleys
• Picking up my brother at Heathrow
• Going through Camden Town Markets & watching the Allblacks vs Argentina in pubs
• Household Calvary Museum !
• Exploring through the Tower of London  - learning about the prisoners kept there was interesting!
• Tate Modern - The World Goes Pop was cool; I liked the meanings in Society and connections to history and pop culture
• Wicked the musical! I cried so many times, would recommend to everyone
• Shopping at Westfield (I got rather excited and bought a lot of youtuber things)

• Baker Street Sherlock Holmes' house
• Les Miserables the musical (GUYS. I went by myself and honestly you need to go to a musical by yourself its such a good experience, okay so I had such an amazing time watching Les Mis and on the train home GUESS WHO WAS ON MY TRAIN. CARRIE HOPE FLETCHER. We made eye contact and I love her and I didn't even say hello! so if by some random turn of fate you're reading this Carrie, I wanted to say I think youre amazing and such a beautiful soul. You bring so much happiness! love from the dark haired girl with 
running eyeliner because she cried so much in Les Mis who stared at you with an open mouth)
• Pamper day at home (Decided to paint my nails Tanya burr's Fairy Godmother & watch 90's shows from my past hahah)
• Watching NZ vs Namibia ( 58 to kiwi! was actually my first all blacks game in person, which is weird because my dads the museum director of the NZ rugby museum!)
• Warner Brothers Studio Tour ! (Soo much fun! Loved it and as a harry potter nerd all of my greatest wishes were served )
• Catching up with family friends from NZ in London!
• Exploring Leeds Castle
• Brighton Pier
• Driving to Wales
• Going behind the scenes at Millennium - Dads job has some pluses
• Watching NZ vs Georgia at Cardiff millennium stadium
• Neath! We stayed at neath for 3 nights
