Things That Have Made Me Happy - JUNE 2015

Hey,
June marks the beginning of winter here in NZ, and overall was a good month! (I know I'm posting this well into July but let's pretend I'm not!)

ACTIVITIES
• Sylvie's birthday!
• Watching remote control tiny planes flying
• Hanging with the girls
• Wellington
• Finding a lil hedgehog!
• Lauren's birthday party! (A late one, as her birthday is in May)
• Spontaneous chats with the best friend
• Outside bonfires with the girls
• Extreme ping pong
• Going out for Thomas' birthday
• Making him a coke can and candy cake
• Calling my cousin Joshy for his 7th birthday
• Life Group fun
• Curling my hair into tight tiny curls (took an hour and I have three burns)
• Lion costume making
• Puppy cuddles ! (Charlie the 9 week old golden lab cross)
• Circus Party with Anya (consisted of us standing in corners & eating #yes)
• Flooding!! (not necessarily happy but it was so exciting walking around in puddles and carrying the puddles with me via sloshy gum boots) (the people who we walked past were trying to figure out what the sound was) (it was me)
• Chilled out lazy sunday watching Chitty Chitty Bang Bang
• Cuddles with Mollie after school
• Settling in a little bit more
• Lunches in the music room with the heater
• Life group with Lauren Gabby and Zoe (and the crew)
• Ice skating with Zoe and Gabby!
• Coffee club with those two^ even though we didn't have coffee
• Sunset walks to the lagoon

 FILMS/TV
• Dancing with the stars
• Miss Congeniality
• iZombie
• The Bachelorette
• The Undateables
• Once Upon A Time
• Lip sync battle
• Chitty Chitty Bang Bang
• Age of Adaline (the movie I watched while the party was on #lifeoftheparty)
• Sleeping Beauty - (1959 version because it is a beauty)
• Hercules (I've now had 'I wont say I'm in love' stuck in my head for a good week)
• It's a wonderful life (1946 black and white goodness)
• Teen Beach 2 (combined light hearted feel, singing and girl power?! yes. All about Leila and her new feminist values)
• Ever After: A Cinderella Story (proving intelligence and honor over status and she saves herself! )

BOOKS
• The Heir - Kiera Cass
• Fairest - Marissa Meyer (Winter is due in November and the wait is excruciating)
• All the bright places - Jennifer Nivon
• Lost & Found - Brooke Davis

MUSIC • How big, How blue, How beautiful - Florence + the Machine (album)
• Disney classics
(Just randomly been jamming out to them)
• Slim shady - Eminem

PRODUCTS
• Lemon Honey ginger drink
• Lemsip Tablets Cold and Flu
• Revlon Colorstay Gel Envy in Checkmate 540
• MAC lipstick (first time I ever got to use a mac lipstick was on the 20th June 2015 - it is a momentous occasion! its not even my own one but its still exciting!)
• Rosehip Night Repair Cream
• Lynx 'for her' Deodorant (although I dont really agree with the whole 'for her' and 'for him'  thing, I really like this deodorant. if it wasnt 'for her' I would still use it, I dont understand why we need such an emphasis on what sex should have what product, its 2015! So yes, I like this product just not it's name :") )
• Morphe eyeshadow and blush pallets (got these for Christmas and they are really pigmented and stay on amazingly well! Awesome drugstore products, highly recommend their brushes too)
• Eye of Horus Liquid Eyeliner - black (Love love love! I lost this a year ago and finally found it and its still awesome)
