Things That Have Made Me Happy- OCTOBER

Hey.

I've decided that from October 2014 on, at the end of each month I am going to reflect on everything that happened and things that have made me happy in that month.
I think with so much negativity in the world, its nice to remember all the things that make your heart smile and your toes curl. The inspiration for this idea comes from this.

With that, here's my list for October:

  • My 2 year old cousin, Skye attempting to brush my hair
  • Cuddles from another cousin, Josh
  • My fluffy cat Louis!
  • Writing poems
  • Face painting
  • Kayaking
  • Walking on the beach
  • Breathing in the fresh air
  • Meditating
  • Sunbears (from a Zoo sleepover I went on)
  • Wellington's gorgeous architecture
  • Laughing at this picture

Kayaking fun.

Grafitti on the rocks at the beach,
 that I found interesting.

View from the beach,
looking out at the sea.

The smallest monkey's in the world!
Seriously adorable.

Pretty vanilla&fig candle from Kmart.

Lavender essential oil is seriously amazing.
I put a few drops by my pillow and on my wrists
and I always sleep way better.
Plus I tried putting lavender into my mascara as
pinterest said so, and my eyelashes have never been this long.
Ever. It's magic.

Where I'll be writing my monthly happy posts.

My modpodged glitter shoes of awesome.
I had decided to be dorothy for Halloween,
and I bought the shoes and decided to DIY the costume
and then we got a call from the doctor saying
there was a space for me to get my tonsils taken out.
So since the 28th Oct, I've been in a lot of pain
and I missed out on Halloween! But on the bright side
I'm now a lot better and I have awesome red glitter shoes.
Take that tonsils.

And to finish off my blogpost, enjoy this delicious picture of the most amazing
cupcakes ever. My grandparents + Uncle and his girlfriend, had a dinner
and they bought cupcakes!
The way to my heart is definitely through cupcakes.
100%.
Thanks for reading! I challenge you to try this happiness project xx
